Dell Technologies announced the release of two 27-inch LCD displays under the gaming brand Alienware: "AW2724HF" and "AW2724DM."
The "AW2724DM" is a high-end model featuring a QHD (2,560 x 1,440) resolution and a refresh rate of 180Hz. It is VESA DisplayHDR 600 certified and offers a delta E correction of less than 2 for high-contrast images. With a cinema-grade 95% DCI-P3 color gamut, it provides accurate and lifelike color representation. To ensure smooth gameplay, the "AW2724DM" incorporates NVIDIA G-SYNC, AMD FreeSync Premium Pro, and VESA AdaptiveSync technologies. Additionally, it includes low blue light screen technology with ComfortView Plus, reducing eye fatigue for prolonged gaming sessions.
The panel type of the "AW2724DM" is Fast IPS, offering a brightness of 600cd/m2 and a contrast ratio of 1,000:1. Its response speed is 1ms (GtoT), and it provides a horizontal/vertical viewing angle of 178° each. The interface options include HDMI 1.4 × 1, DisplayPort 1.4 × 2, USB 3.2 Gen 1 × 2 (downstream), and USB 3.2 Gen 1 × 1 (upstream). On the other hand, the "AW2724HF" is a full HD (1,920 x 1,080) display with a refresh rate of 360Hz. It boasts a sRGB 99% color gamut, delivering a highly realistic visual experience. Similar to the "AW2724DM," the "AW2724HF" supports AMD FreeSync Premium technology and VESA AdaptiveSync certification. It also incorporates ComfortView Plus, reducing blue light exposure. Designed for competitive gaming, it features the Legend 2.0 ID design, including a hexagonal base, retractable headset hanger, adjustable stand, and centralized OSD joystick.
