ADATA Technology's gaming brand, XPG, has introduced the INVADER X MINI, a compact mid-tower PC case featuring a pillarless design and five pre-installed ARGB fans. Announced on September 18, 2024, the case is available in two color options: black and white. The INVADER X MINI is a scaled-down version of the previously released INVADER X, which debuted in Japan in November 2023. While retaining the distinctive pillarless structure of its predecessor, the MINI version offers a more compact form factor. The dimensions have been reduced from 245mm in width to 210mm and from 475mm in depth to 359mm, making it suitable for builds where space is a consideration.

The pillarless design of the INVADER X MINI provides an unobstructed interior, facilitating easier installation and improved airflow. The case includes tempered glass panels on both sides, allowing for a clear view of the internal components and lighting effects from the ARGB fans. Cooling is a key focus of the INVADER X MINI. It comes standard with five 120mm reverse ARGB fans:

• Top Panel: Supports two 120mm or 140mm fans. Two 120mm reverse ARGB fans are pre-installed.
• PSU Shroud Area: Accommodates two 120mm fans. Two 120mm reverse ARGB fans are pre-installed in this location as well.
• Rear Panel: Equipped with one 120mm reverse ARGB fan.

The case supports radiator installations of up to 240mm on the top panel and up to 120mm on the rear panel, providing flexibility for liquid cooling solutions. For storage, the INVADER X MINI offers:

• 3.5-Inch Drive Bays: Two shadow bays for HDDs.
• 2.5-Inch Drive Bays: Two dedicated shadow bays plus an additional combined bay, accommodating up to three SSDs.

This configuration allows users to balance between high-capacity hard drives and faster solid-state drives according to their needs.The case includes seven expansion slots, supporting a range of hardware configurations. The effective space allocations  are as follows:

• Graphics Card Length: Up to 330mm, accommodating most high-end GPUs.
• CPU Cooler Height: Up to 166mm, allowing for a variety of air cooling solutions.
• Power Supply Depth: Up to 180mm, suitable for standard ATX power supplies.

The INVADER X MINI supports multiple motherboard form factors, including ATX, MicroATX, and Mini-ITX, offering versatility for different build sizes and purposes.

• Cable Management: The pillarless design and spacious interior facilitate efficient cable routing, improving airflow and aesthetics.
