ADATA announced a more durable PCI Express 4.0 NVMe M.2 SSD with 112-layer 3D TLC NAND flash BiCS 5 and a P/E cycle count of 3,000 (IM2P41B8).
It's intended for servers, data centers, network devices, monitoring devices, IoT terminals, and other equipment, with a working temperature range of 0 to 70°C. An industrial-grade model with working temperatures ranging from -40 to 85°C is also in the works. The capacity lineup is 4 models of 512GB, 1TB, 2TB, and 4TB, and the maximum transfer speed is 7,000MB/s for sequential reading and 6,500MB/s for writing. Additionally, it has LDPCC error correction, a RAID engine, and end-to-end data path protection.
- PCIe Gen4x4 interface/ NVMe 1.4 compliant
- 112-layer 3D TLC (BiCS5) NAND flash for higher capacities and endurance
- 3K P/E cycle rating for great durability and reliability
- Comes in capacities up to 4TB
- DRAM Buffer
- AES 256-bit Data Encryption and TCG OPAL 2.0
- LDPC ECC error correction, RAID Engine, and End-to-End Data Path Protection
- Thermal Throttling automatically adjusts temperatures for prolonged product lifespan
- Complies with ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) IEC/EN 61000-4-2 level 4 standard
- Suitable for server, data center, networking, surveillance, and IoT related applications
The dimensions of the body are 22 mm wide, 80 mm deep, and 3.6 mm thick, with a maximum power consumption of 6.8 W. Interestingly enough, ADATA is not listing any TBW values.
