Alright alright ! Acer will release two new 24"-class screens with IPS panels and 3840 x 2160 Ultra HD resolutions. Yeah, 24" inch though. The CB240HYK (pictured) is 23.8" in size and offers a 60Hz refresh rate, 6ms G2G response time, 1000:1 contrast ratio, 310 cd/m2 brightness and sRGB gamut from its W-LED backlight.
There are DL-DVI, HDMI 2.0 (with MHL 2.0) and DisplayPort interfaces offered. The stand offers a full range of tilt, height, swivel and rotate adjustments and there are also 2x 2W stereo speakers featured.
The K242HQK is 23.6" in size and offers a 60Hz refresh rate, 4ms G2G response time, 1000:1 contrast ratio, 300 cd/m2 brightness, 178/178 viewing angles, 16.7m colour depth (8-bit) and sRGB gamut from its W-LED backlight. There are DL-DVI, HDMI 2.0 (with MHL) and DisplayPort interfaces offered. The stand offers a basic tilt adjustment only, and there are also 2x 2W stereo speakers featured.
Both screens are expected to go in to mass production in February so are likely to be available around April. No word on price yet.
