Acer has announced the availability of their Swift 3 and Aspire 5 laptops, both series offer AMD Ryzen 4000 U-Series Mobile Processors with Radeon Graphics.
Providing a balance between style, power and efficiency, the new Acer Swift 3 (SF314-42) line uses the 8-core AMD Ryzen 7 4700U Mobile Processor with Radeon Graphics. Plus, the Swift 3 is always ready with a fast-charging battery that can provide up to 11.5 hours of battery life when fully charged, and up to 4 hours of use after 30 minutes of charging.
The Swift 3’s stylish design features an aluminum chassis and a magnesium-aluminum lid. It weighs 2.6 lbs. and measures 0.63 inches thin, so it’s easy to take anywhere. The Swift 3’s 0.22-inch bezels provide a screen-to-body ratio of up to 82.73 percent, keeping the focus on the Full HD 14-inch display’s images.
Configurations of the Swift 3 (SF314-42) start at $629.99 MSRP and will be available in April. Aimed at families, small businesses and anyone who needs the latest technology, features and ports, the Acer Aspire 5 is powered by a 6-core AMD Ryzen 5 4500U Mobile Processor with Radeon Graphics. This combination pairs with the latest technologies including up to 24GB memory and storage capacities of up to 1TB PCIe SSD and up to 2TB HDD.
The Aspire 5 features a sandblasted aluminum lid and a 15.6 inch Full HD IPS display surrounded by narrow bezels. Configurations of the Aspire 5 (A515-44) start at just $519.99 MSRP and will be available in June. AMD's 7nm Ryzen 9 seems to offers game-changing performance for laptops.
