The CPU water unit, Zalman ZM-WB3 GOLD, is packed into a transparent plastic box and comes with everything you need. The CPU water block pack includes two connecting pipes and two clamps for the tubing, as well as different retention sets for several sockets. You can use this CPU block on Intel Socket 478/775 and AMD Socket 462/754/939/940. We'll be using the Socket 939 for our thousand dollar AMD Athlon FX-57 processor today. Seriously, dear Zalman, if this doesn't work I will bill you guys! ;)

Furthermore, you'll find washers for the screws, the users manual and a tube of brand name thermal paste. Installation really is very easy to do.

That is brushed and lapped copper people - 100% smooth. You can comb your hair in there. This is the foundation of the water unit that gets pressed onto the CPU. Let's prep the mainboard for some serious surgical treatment.

Firstly, at the back of the mainboard, we install the retention clip for Socket 939.

Then, we flip around the mainboard and install the processor. We clean up the processor from remaining thermal paste and apply some new thermal paste to it. As I always state: 'always lube it if you want it to go smooth.'
