Okay, so I promised not write any more reviews on the GeForce 7600 series. But darn it, it's been a year since the release of this product series, yet manufacturers are still refreshing their product lines by boasting new features and performance. See we cannot deny the fact that the 7600 GT still offers great value for money but once you have seen a couple of reviews on the product you think you've seen it all. And with that in mind I did not expect to handle any new GeForce 7600 GT product reviews.
But the thing is XFX released a new model of the GeForce 7600 GT two weeks ago and to say it in the most lame way... it's so pretty ! Here we have a new GeForce 7600 GT with a black PCB, UV reflective DVI connectors, standard overclocked (quite a bit actually) and it's passively cooled. Now how can one not like that. Odd cooling solutions, faster memory, faster core clocks, weird PCB designs, lower costs; it's gotta be good.
Okay then, one more review coming up.
Today we'll have a look at a new product line from XFX, it's the new Fatality line of products which will bring a couple of new features to the existing product line for sure. Next to the above mentioned features the XFX 7600GT graphics card comes with 256Mb DDR3 clocked at (2x) 800 MHZ, TV-out and dual-link Dual DVI.
XFX brands this card we are testing today as a special "XXX" version. These are the pre-clocked (at default higher clocked then the reference cards from NVIDIA) on both the memory and graphics processor. Today we are looking at the XFX GeForce 7600 GT XXX Fatality edition graphics card. Armed with 256 MB memory and a stack load of performance for your bucks.
