Who is Wavemaster?

Wavemaster is an audio specialist with its base in the EU (it's German - pun intended). They are offering audio gear like speaker kits to multi-channel kinda like SONOS does - but at much more attractive prices. They recently launched their CUBE mini series, a compact, quality 2.0 stereo speaker system with integrated amplifier that streams music from a Bluetooth-enabled smartphone, laptop or tablet with pretty darn good audio quality. You guys know what a Sonos 2.0 kit costs right? This kit from Wavemaster however will cost you £89.90 / 119.95 Euro, thats incl. taxes though prices thus can vary per country. Also that is a suggested retail price, meaning we're sure you'll find a kit around the 100 EURO marker.

Considering your average MP3 file is encoded at 128 up-to say 320 kbps there's plenty of bandwidth. Revision 2.1 added secure simple pairing (SSP). This improves the pairing experience for Bluetooth devices, while increasing the use and strength of security. But, Bluetooth 3 and higher is already at 24 Mbit/s.
