DX11: Aliens Versus Predator
DX11: Aliens Versus Predator
DirectX 11 Aliens vs. Predator offers Anti-Aliasing, tessellated Aliens and better shadows. Guru3D now adds DirectX 11 graphics performance charts in its reviews. Aliens vs. Predator benchmark gives users the ability to test the mettle of their DX11 hardware with tessellation and advanced shadows.
For this test we apply the following image quality settings:
- Full DirectX 11 mode
- 4x Anti-Aliasing
- 16x Anisotropic Filtering
- SSAO enabled
- All settings maxed out
In the Aliens vs Predator benchmark we test 5760x1200 at the specific FULL DX11 mode, there is some nice tessellation there. Furthermore since this is a very demanding title at this resolution we kicked the AA mode to 4 and also enabled Screen Space Ambient Occlusion (SSAO).
As you can see, the R6990 and GTX 590 perform equally, for the R6990 the quad-GPU mode did not kick in, for NVIDIA's GTX 590 however it did, making the benchmark jawdropping to look at.
