At the left side of the front panel we can find controls and various inputs. Very cute chrome buttons for power and reset in the left corner, and in the black area there is a microphone jack, headphone jack, two USB ports, and one Firewire port.

All the way above these connections is a window where the optional Thermaltake Media Lab VFD can be installed. We have the version of the casing where this is installed. Although more expensive I would like to suggest you buy this similar model. It really rocks.

The right side of the front face features a door that opens and will show three 5.25" drive bays. An optical drive installed in the middle drive bay can be outfitted with a 'stealth' drive bay cover that allows it to be accessed without opening the front door. Closing the door is not exactly charming, it's hard to close and open. Look at the next photo.

Basically you replace the CD/DVD-Rom door with the black aluminum cover. Simple to install, very cool to look at. One downside though, there is no eject button, so you have to do that with the help of the remote.
