Specifications and features

The sample that has arrived for testing is a 1 TB version of the drive. No information is provided about the type of NAND flash memory used (there's only mentioned that it's 3D NAND - so it's most probably the TLC), and there is also no information about the IOPS either. The CX2 doesn't have the DRAM Cache, but the SLC buffer should make the daily usage more friendly, without any major drops in the transfer for the daily usage. Some marketing copy for you to take a quick look at:

“The advanced SLC Caching algorithm technology makes its read/write speed easily 4 times faster than traditional hard drives. Solid-state drives are shock and drop resistant (1500G/0.5ms) and do not make annoying mechanical noises. It can also effectively avoid computer crashes due to kicking. The powerful Wear-Leveling technology and ECC (Error Correction Code) function enhance the reliability of data transfer and prolong the service life of the SSD.”

Product Features (1 TB version):

• Sequential Read (ATTO): up to 540 MB/s
• Sequential Write (ATTO): up to 490 MB/S
- MTBF – 1,000,000 hours
• Interface: SATA III 6Gb/s
• Form Factor: 2.5"
