SSD Performance AS SSD Benchmark

AS SSD Benchmark

Included in our benchmark suite is this nice little German application called AS SSD Benchmark. This test gives an extensive set of results. The test is popular because it is so user-friendly, and TBH really trustworthy in its results, so we always use it, if only for reference. Here we go.

Compression Benchmark

This test creates test patterns on the target drive, which are random and vary in the level of compression used in the test data. This ranges from 0% compressible to 100% compressible. Basically, for this chart, you want a straight line that’s as high as possible (no compression performance loss), which indicates the highest performance in MB/s.
