DirectX 12 (DXR) - RTX and DLSS Update (charts)
On this page two extra sets of charts. We assume that if you have an RTX card you will enable DLSS, as such we ran numbers on the four RTX cards with DLSS enabled and Ultra RTX mode enabled.
And there you have it. DLSS + RTX Ultra. With DLSS enabled at ultra HD the performance hit is smaller as there is less overhead for the RT cores. Should you choose to disable DLSS, the performance hit will be substantially bigger. However, while DLSS is a notch more blurry only, we think it's a fair tradeoff for the extra perf you get. Whether or not you find Raytraced shadows important enough (and that only is what is happening RTX wise), is of course for you to decide. BTW we did not include 1920x1080 as DLSS is not supported in that resolution.
