Assassins Creed: Mirage
This 2023 release serves as a narrative precursor to "Assassin's Creed Valhalla" but follows it in the contemporary storyline. Set in 9th-century Baghdad during the Anarchy at Samarra, the game chronicles Basim Ibn Ishaq's journey from a street thief to a member of the Hidden Ones, opposing the Order of the Ancients. Conceived initially as an expansion for "Assassin's Creed Valhalla," "Mirage" evolved into an independent game to broaden its narrative and gameplay.
