Introduction

When looking for the perfect PC case, it's all about finding the right balance. You want something that fits big video cards, keeps your system cool, makes it easy to organize cables, keeps noise down, and looks good too. The Corsair 6500 series, and especially the 6500X model, tries to hit all these marks, but there's a bit of give and take. The 6500X is a fancier option in the 6500 lineup. It's got a cool two-room layout that takes a cue from the O11 design. This means the main parts like the motherboard and video card sit in a big space on the left, while the power supply and drives tuck away on the right. This setup is great for airflow and keeping things neat. The 6500D Airflow model ramps up the air movement with extra vents on the front, top, and bottom. On the other hand, the 6500X goes for looks, with glass sides and front that let you see everything inside. There's also a 6500X with RGB lights, adding three colorful fans and a light controller, making it stand out from the standard 6500X.

Pricing for the 6500X is around !199 / 210 euros. This price doesn't include fans, and it features two glass panels that join seamlessly, offering a great view inside without any bars in the way. If you want to really show off your video card and improve cooling, you'll need to buy an extra riser or maybe go for the RGB version of the 6500X, which bumps up the cost. This case is also friendly with the latest motherboards that have connectors on the back, like MSI's Project Zero and Asus's BTF. This means you can have a super clean setup with hardly any cables showing. The 6500X is spacious, fitting up to three big video cards, large motherboards, and other top-notch parts, making it a solid choice for PC enthusiasts who care a lot about how their build looks and performs.  It's made for folks who want their PC parts on display and value a smart layout. But, going for the 6500X, especially if you want all the bells and whistles, means spending a bit more, and you might need to add a few things to get it just right. Right before we published this review, we got three RX140 fans with iCUE Link. We set up these fans and included their test outcomes in the case review.
