ITurbo Overclocking
In the software bundle we also find a new overclocking tool that HiS developed over the past few months. It's the first time ever that they introduced it and I expect to see further development of this tool in upcoming products. Basically the idea is this, push a button and your card is overclocked within HiS defined limits.

After installing just click on the tray icon to startup iTurbo.

I have to admit, the card probably could be overclocked a little higher if i did it manually but by pressing the iTurbo button within a flash the frequency of the core jumps from ATi's reference 425 MHz to 460 MHz and the memory from 460 to 480. Although not a massive and heavy overclock this will definitely bring the product a step closer to NVIDIA's GeForce 6600 GT.

The software we received was an advanced release candidate and it looks and feels very promising. This is overclocking for the people that never do that in a safe and HiS certified manner. Usually I don't have anything good to say about included overclocking tools as the novice user can seriously damage a card, but this time, well let's just say that HiS did it right.

Here we see the iTurbo software after startup, standard 425/864 clocks.

If you press that blue iTurbo button you'll get an instant overclock to 460/960 MHz, that extra free HiS guaranteed performance out of the box.

They must have a very clever programmer behind this software. iTurbo has a very good chance in becoming a sizable success as this is a really easy to use and well developed concept. Anyway, let's have a look at some 3D features.
