Who needs internet porn when you can look at images like these huh ? Gawp at many photo's in the ATI X1800 XT Crossfire 512 MB image gallery.

Twins .. we got twins, babeeh ! You are looking at both a reference sample X1800 XT 512MB the lower being the master Crossfire card and the upper the slave. I named one card Mary-Kate and the other Ashley Olsen. ;)

As you an observe, the cards need to be connected to the power supply (PSU) directly. This means you need two 6-pin connectors and a rather substantial PSU that is able able to maintain a stable load.

When we look at the master card we see one abnormal connector. This is where you connect the y-cable. One lead will then go to the slave card and the other DVI connector on the y-cable towards your monitor.

Here we can observe that connector a little closer.
