Just for reference, here are the cards flipped with the backside upwards, it will give you a slightly better idea on size.

The NVIDIA cards typically come with three monitor connectors in the shape of two DVI connectors and one HDMI or DP connector. AMD definitely does thing differently with Eyefinity in mind, the R6950 1GB even offers two DVI connectors, an HDMI connector and then two Display Port connectors.

Both cards have two 6-pin PEG power connectors, 75W through the PCIe slot, and then 2x75W (one per 6-pin header) allow roughly 225W power consumption. The GTX 560 has a rated TDP of 170W and the R6950 at 140W. We'll test and measure that later on in this article.
