A heat spreader does not always bring the temperature down. Rather than that, it moves the heat from the chips to the PCB, distributing it more evenly throughout the entire module, and eliminating potential hot-spots. Theoretically, this should allow better overclocking.

The total height of the stick is about 45 mm/1.77 inch. That’s a relatively low-profile module, so you shouldn’t have problems with air coolers but, as always, we recommend double-checking whether any clearance issues won’t occur before you buy this set.

The weight of the module is 47 g, so the radiator seems to be trustworthy. The set that has been provided to us is not an RGB one, so there is no need to use your motherboard’s software to control any lighting. Ok, here are the last shots of this elegant memory kit.
