Let’s have a peek at what the Patriot P200 SSD looks like. You can see the white/blue box here. It’s very aesthetic, and it already shows you what the SSD looks like. Additionally, the name “Standard performance” at the bottom of the front part of the box indicates what you’re dealing with, so no shock here. The performance of the 1 TB variant is listed as 530 MB/s for reads and 460 MB/sec for writes, with roughly 80K IOPS at 4k random writes aligned disk access in the case of the model we tested (and the numbers are the same for the other capacities).

On the backside, you can find a list of the overall features, so nothing fancy/new here. Inside, in a plastic clamshell, you’ll discover the SATA drive itself.

The P200’s external case is made of black plastic with a blueish sticker on it. Last “Product Showcase” picture. You can see the back of the Patriot P200 here, with the drive’s codename, warranty stickers, and serial number. Let’s proceed to the practical part. Let’s head on to the practical part.
