Corza NAS unboxing
Corza NAS unboxing
On the next few pages we'll show you some photos. The images were taken at high-resolution and then cropped and scaled down. The camera used was a Canon 450D 12 MegaPixel.
Package and bundling. The Corza is packaged carefully in Styrofoam. Included in the box you'll find a CAT5e cable, power cable, manual, utility CD, extra screws to mount the HDDs and of course the Corza NAS unit itself.
So here we have the actual Corza ... for a NAS unit this device is extremely affordable. And luckily Patriot did not skimp on overall design. It is a good looking unit. Even the swappable drive bays feel sturdy.
The Corza has two of these hot-swappable drive bays. Positioned in each bay you secure your 3.5" SATA HDD with a couple of screws and then slide it into the NAS unit. Very handy, very easy. The unit can take two HDDs. You can use the HDDs seperately as network shares, but you may also place them in RAID0 or RAID1.
Physical access to the drives is it to be found at the front, which also includes status LEDs.
The device has a matte black coating and the Patriot logo embedded on the side. The overall chassis is designed very sturdily.
Here we have the backside. You can connect the device as NAS into a network through the Gigabit Ethernet port. You can also connect a USB printer to the device. Furthermore we see a power switch and the ventilator, which is PWM controlled.
