With pretty much no graphics card releases from NVIDIA for Q4 this year you'll probably see some refresh models from their board partners. Now, we have seen the GTX 560 Ti in many models and flavors already, yet Palit did something really nice. See, they just released a limited edition GeForce GTX 560 Twin Light Turbo Edition.

After the initial launch reference reviews NVIDIA's partners released more customized solutions onto the market for the GeForce GTX 560 Ti series. The Twin Light Turbo Edition we test today comes with a custom PCB and a new heatpipe cooler that will hopefully bring good temperatures versus low noise levels. That new cooler is the shiznit though as honestly, it's an innovative and just really good looking cooler.

The fans are located BEHIND the cooling fins, giving the product that passively cooled look, whilst kicking out some thunder from down under.

In this article we'll take the Palit GeForce GTX 560 Twin Light Turbo Limited Edition for a test spin. In the reference and following reviews you guys learned that NVIDIA has nothing to be ashamed of when it comes to the baseline performance of the GTX 560 Ti, the overclocking potential however was also really impressive.

And AIB/AIC partners realize that very much, so you'll spot products clocked at core frequencies of 900 MHz and some of them will even brute force attack that upper threshold higher.

The GeForce GTX 560 Twin Light Turbo Edition tested today indeed comes all customized and is also factory overclocked, albeit a little. The GPU is clocked at 830 MHz and its memory at 4100 MHz, thus both are a slice faster than the reference baseline clocked products.

As a result of that excellent cooling we can actually overclock this card in the 950 MHz range, and that my friends means value. Boost a little additional voltage in there... and you might even reach that 1 GHz barrier.
