So the modules we are testing today are one of OCZs triple channel memory DIMM kits. Let's have a look at packaging and modules.

Packaging ... hey we show you everything my man, and now you know what look for in the stores. Courtesy of Guru3D.com, are we cool or what, huh? ;) By the way, does that packaging remind you of something?

Hint: the Monolith from 2001: A space Odyssey.

Hello Dave: what no no .. I'm serious, I mean look. We could make a movie out of it and call it 2009: A space Oddity.

Okay lame puns aside. Meet OCZ's Blade series memory. This is the 6GB 2000 MHz kit. Mind you that there is a cheaper CAS9 version available as well. Nice design, black PCB and heat spreaders made out of aluminum for optimal heat conductivity.

A rather nice threesome. This kit can manage latencies of 7-8-7-24 at a 2T command rate / 1.65 Volts, soeweeeet. Under the heatspreaders, you'd find Elpida IC's. And these are just awesome.
