Hello Samsung!
The Samsung SyncMaster 2233RZ is as stated a 120 Hz LCD monitor. You really need this refresh rate for a flicker-free stereoscopic 3D gaming experience, as you need to split that refresh rate up. Each eye will get 60 Hz, and that's really minimum for a flicker-free experience.
Mind you guys that you must purchase a 120 Hz monitor that supports 3D for it to work properly with GeForce 3D Vision. So yeah, your choice is limited to a Samsung SyncMaster 2233RZ 120 Hz LCD display or ViewSonic FuHzion VX2265wm 120 Hz LCD display right now. NVIDIA's driver page also mentions that all traditional CRT monitors with 120 Hz should work fine. So if you are one of the very few who still uses them... you're in luck.
For normal usage the Samsung's LCD screen is fairly good. It offers decent image quality. However in this price range a couple of more features would have been nice. There's just one DVI connector (!) and that's it. For the monitor to be configured at 120 Hz you'll need a Dual-link DVI-D cable, which comes supplied with the monitor. A regular DVI cable will limit this monitor to 60 Hz.
Also we feel that a native 1680 x 1050 resolution falls a little short. This kit is targeted at an enthusiast audience... they'll probably want a 24" at 1920x1080 ~ 1920x1200, especially in an era where Full HD is a fact, and considering the price range we are talking about... it would have made more sense. But sure, it's a fine monitor other than the quirks and personal preferences mentioned.
