The "Northbridge" chip, NVIDIA calls this the SPP chip. As you can see... no more passive cooling, which is a shame really. This however is not a bad fan... the MCP fan however ... let me get into that in a second.
Memory slots then. You get to use 4 x 240-pin DIMM socket Dual Channel DDR2, a maximum of 8GB of DDR2 533/667/800 SLI-Ready memory can be used. You can also use faster memory yet have to set that manually. All the way below it the ATX power connector and one IDE port (P-ATA). And above the IDE connector... wait let me zoom in for you there...
Um yeah ... above that external AUX power connector... this is front panel connectivity. What an unusual place! One you have your IDE connecter attached and the upper DIMM slot utilized this is a very hard spot to reach. I'm not really charmed by this position. One good thing... colour coding !
