Final Words & Conclusion
Final Words & Conclusion
The Neo Forza Trinity JetBlack 6000 CL40 kit offers users a more-than-decent performance already out of the box. It looks attractive/clean, although there’s no lighting. There’s an RGB version of this series for RGB lovers. The frequency range is extensive, from 4800 to 7800; we got the 6000 MHz variant. There’s no color selection (like Ford T – only black), but several capacities are available up to 4x32 GB kits.
Aesthetics
Neo Forza has made Trinity JetBlack look clean/attractive. There’s no RGB here, but it’s not bad. If you crave it, the “regular” Trinity series differs only with the lighting. Overall, we’re satisfied with what Neo Forza Trinity JetBlack offers in that department.
Tweaking
The memory chips used here come from Hynix, M-Die. As we usually state, the overclocking capabilities’ reproducibility is never guaranteed, and your results may vary. The reviewed kit –is already a decent performance out-of-the-box. It was possible to tighten the timings (6400 CL32-40-40-70 was stable), providing a nice performance difference.
Conclusion
Neo Forza Trinity JetBlack is an attractive memory series. The stock performance is within the expected range (6000 MHz is the typical/enough performer), and the AMD EXPO/Intel XMP 3.0 profile makes life easier. The relatively low-profile heat spreader (40 mm/1.57 inches), so you shouldn’t encounter clearance problems with more extensive air CPU coolers. Some headroom (tighter timings/more frequency) is still available, as we reached the 6400 MHz with CL32-40-40-70. The 64 GB option is really a lot for most users nowadays – it’s mainly aimed at power users. It is rather 32 GB becoming a standard even in gaming set-ups (for the DDR5 systems), also because of the introduction of the new RAM standard. The current price for the DDR5s is decreasing rapidly, thanks to the AM5 platform introduction. We want to give Neo Forza the “Guru3D Recommended” award for this kit as it’s fast enough out of the box. The temperature is relatively low, and the aluminum heat spreaders are effective. You can also get customizable RGB lighting if you’d pick up the “Trinity” series (not Jetblack as the ones presented here). The only color you can pick up is black (like for the Ford T back in the day). Still, that’s not a real drawback, as this color is the most universal for the builds. What would you like more? Practically nothing (except the price and the relatively poor availability). Besides that, it’s an attractive DDR5 kit, but the price is still the main downside of this standard (although the decrease is constantly visible).
