You must work your way up the blacklist to defeat Razor and take back what is rightfully yours. A bunch of races require completion before a racer on the Black List is willing to face you, and these races can be picked in any order. There are two kinds: Races and Milestones. The choices are all variations of either straight racing or avoiding the cops. As a matter of fact, in some races you will be going head to head with racers while simultaneously trying to avoid the cops. These races can be a mixture of speed traps, sprints, circuit racing, and drag racing. The challenges/milestones include cost to state, violations, pursuit length, toll booth, tag and bounty. EA has made the drag races easier by virtually steering the car for you and giving you a better chance of getting those perfect shifts. One must also note that there are not many drag races in this game.
There are two new features in NFS: MW, Speed Breakers and Pursuit Breakers. If you recall the Bullet Time in Max Payne then you will know what a Speed Breaker is. Its very handy for taking corners at insane speeds or checking road blocks to determine where the weakest point is or if there are any spike strips. Pursuit Breakers are far more fun and give you a chance to interact with the game (smells like Burnout). They are special destructible objects in the environment. When you drive underneath them, they collapse, causing cops to stall, pause, and stop in their tracks. These objects range from water towers and gas stations to yachts and radio towers. I have found one which works almost every time where you will lose the cops and win the pursuit !!!

Once you defeat a blacklist member you get a chance to pick two markers from a pile of either 5 or 6. Each racer has three hidden markers, and a few obvious ones like cash or special mod parts. The hidden markers add surprise to each race's winnings. Hidden markers range from an extra $10,000, get out of jail free card, or, if you're lucky, the pink slip to the competitors' car. I always try to get the pink slip but everyone is different.
