The VRM area has this huge heatsink on it, there are barbs there, screw in some fittings and you can use it for liquid cooling. On this photo you can also spot one 8-pin connector to power your processor. And finally, a company that sees that the one 8-pin connector is more than enough.

Quite original, opposed to using a Realtek codec, inside the front PCI-Express area shield MSI houses a C-Media 6632A Audio Processor. With Xtreme Audio DAC, powered by a C-Media 122dB 384kHz/32-Bit HD Audio Processor, ESS SABRE HiFi dedicated DAC, Nahimic Sound Technology and other high quality audio components, they are delivering sound quality alright. That is a massive step upwards to great audio quality at dedicated soundcard levels.

Check that chipset heatsink, pretty cool design. Next to it to the left you can spot two M.2 slots and you should really take note of the metal cover on the two primary x16 PCI-Express slots. It provides a more sturdy and stronger slot, handy for very heavy graphics cards that hang horizontally and put stress on the slots.

Also, and a pretty nice thing really. A nice solid metal black painted back-plate.
