DX9: Hard Reset
Hard Reset is a PC-exclusive FPS from The Flying Wild Hog, a Polish developer that is made up from members of the team behind Painkiller (People Can Fly), and former developers from CD Projekt Red and City Interactive.
In development since April 2009, the game features a cyberpunk plot. It draws inspiration from William Gibson, Neal Stephenson, and Philip K. Dick (especially Blade Runner in story). In gameplay, Serious Sam is the main inspiration; explosive barrels and large hordes of enemies will be prominent within the game. There is no multiplayer.

Hard Reset was added into our benchmark suite as it has a handy to use benchmark mode that is very representative of the in-game graphics engine performance.
As you can see, the 7800 series are cards that perform beautiful at 1920x1080. These really are the perfect 1920x1080/1200 cards as you will learn over the next few pages.
In the charts I named the MSI R7850 Power Edition OC the "TwinFrozr IV " for ease in understanding. In all benchmarks it sits right where it needs to be, just above reference R7850 performance.
At just over 200 EUR these cards offer good value for money alright.
