Performance - Ethernet LAN 1 up-to 10 Gigabit
Performance - Ethernet (LAN 1up-to 10 Gigabit)
Next, to WIFI performance, the new trend is faster Ethernet. In the coming years, we'll slowly transition from 1 Gigabit towards 10 Gigabit connections, with 2.5 and 5 Gbps available as well. We have invested in a 10 Gigabit infrastructure to test with. We start with a 1 Gigabit uplink and then hook into the 2.5, 5 or 10 Gbps to scientifically measure the throughput.
This device has two jacks, one 1 Gbit the other 2.5 Gigabit per second.
Above: 2.5 Gbps throughput
