Page 4 - receiver - Recharcher and more buttons

As you can see the Logitech board is damn near as big as the MS one without the wrist thing, putting it on pushes the board way to far back into my keyboard tray and actually makes using the board less comfortable. Remember though this is a wireless keyboard so sittin it on my lap is good enough.

Another thing youll notice about the Logitech board is the lack of caps/num and F lock lights.

Theyre on the receiver/mouse charger which helps with battery life of the keyboard. Another nice feature. F lock is for the function keys F1-F12 they also have a 2nd function i.e. new doc, send mail, undo, print etc. also all these keys are programmable which is another perk, nothing exclusive to Logitech though the MS board has the same alternate F-key feature too.

Another thing about this recharger/receiver is the instruction manual says that you can only use the PS/2 connectors opposed to the USB-only one for desktop PCs. It doesnt say PS/2 or USB it just says PS/2. The USB is for laptops and Macs because the ,ajority of them lack PS/2 Id imagine, well thats kind of wrong. I have this plugged into my USB hub on my desk and everything works fine. The PS/2 connectors are made up of a mouse one and a keyboard USB-PS/2 adaptor which the power adaptor plugs into as well. The weight and length of the whole USB-PS/2 with 2 cables running from it made it pull downwards thats why I wanted to get the USB to work. Also instead of reaching behind my PC I can just unplug it from my hub which is more convenient. I thought since my USB hub is powered with an adaptor It negates the adaptor for the receiver so I unplugged the USB power adaptor cable, thats not true. The adaptors for the charger part where the USB powers the num/scroll/F lock LEDs and the receiver.

The other iTouch keys plus some of the Function ones. Note the black User button, I dont use more than one user on my PC and I have fast user switching disabled so I wouldnt use it but, its for the fast user switching feature of Windows. When I push the button it throws me in Stand-By mode.
