Page 3 - Still Buttons and Software
The 2nd button is just a back button for webpages.
The 3rd button pops up this box. But, if a webpage is what you put in there it doesnt use anything but IE. I dont think its configurable also if it is I dont know how to configure it to use MY IE2.
Clicking configuration pops up this window. Which is where you set the programmable buttons, I like the battery status which by the way is still good after about 4 hours of dinking around with this keyboard.
Connection, because it is wireless this is a way for the receiver to home in on only this keyboards signal.
Secure mode adds encryption to the keyboards signal.
Unlike the MS Multimedia Keyboard this Media button is semi-programmable. I say Semi because when you click it, it loads up a menu of the media players on your system including the bundled MusicMatch which is a cool feature but, it didnt list my Foobar2000 after it ran a scan for players. The MS board media button could be set to whatever media player you wanted.
1st of 2 drawbacks down, heres the second one. The wrist support thing. Looks flimsy, feels flimsy is flimsy.
Its pretty much hollow too hence the flimsiness. Its just got a couple snaps which make it easy to connect to the board.
