Carefully packaged... grmbl... Tom's *cough* logo on the box. Anyway, this is the packaging. The V1000-Pro is secured quite well in it. Not a scratch was on it. Let's unpack.
Quite nice huh? Powered down it's not quite such an astounding sight, you'll see all that at the end of this article. The overall dimensions are 490 (H) x 208 (W) x 490 (D) mm, in inches, they are 19.25 (H) x 8.25 (W) x 19.25 (D).
First look at the casing, the front-side. We see five 5.25 and a 3.5 external drive bay, surrounded with anodized aluminum pierced with many holes. Basically this is one huge air intake.
