The photo shoot
The packaging, now here's where Jetway went wrong. The sticker on the box states SLI X8+X8. Lovely, but the board is not SLI compatible in the sense that you can actually activate it. Please don't get fooled by that. Other than that, its colourful box with some lovely Dutch orange sentiment on it.
Here we see the Jetway 966PDAG-PB mainboard. A cute colourful little fellah, isn't it?
I/O panel connectivity. When do you know when a mainboard is budget? It lacks connectors. Still, there's plenty to go around with. 4x USB, you got your GigE Ethernet, 8-channel sound solution (analog though). So yeah, everything you need is here.
Here you can see the dual-channel memory setup that is common to most performance motherboards nowadays. Up-to 8GBytes of DDR2-800 system memory can be installed in there. Dual-channel operation is achieved by inserting modules into same-color slots. So two bars of 512MB are inserted in either the yellow or orange slots respectively.
