The key aspect of NAS is that it is storing data on a server connecting through the Ethernet towards a PC, your NAS unit in fact acting as the server, your PC is a client.

Ineo Technology recently released their Neo I-NA312N1 dual 3.5" SATA to USB/Gigabit LAN RAID 0/1 NAS enclosure. In the USA you'll find these under the Eagle branding by the way. iNEO specializes in external hard drive enclosure storage system and own a factory in Taiwan and China for their products.

The unit we test today is the I-NA312N1 and has:

iNEO NAS STorage Unit

Alright, so here we have the unit shipped in. Our box was a tiny bit beaten up from traveling overseas toward the Netherlands, the hardware arrived in mint condition. Opening up the box you'll notice a very well packaged product. Wrong packaging though, as we did not receive the WiFi version.
