IO Interactive earlier shared a new location in a short trailer in which IO Interactive showed the environment, and that provided more information about the Glacier Engine. Hitman 3 contains more than 300 active NPCs (non-player character) simultaneously and the game will run at 4K with 60FPS and HDR. Rendering quality, animations, and AI have been upgraded. Lighting and reflections have been updated as well, you can see that in the city of Chongqing through an array of lights that drench the environment. Water effects have also been updated, including droplets hitting Agent 47 to add “player immersion”.
