Game optimizations include enhancing HITMAN 3 for PC players with 8+ core CPUs; for example, you’ll be able to spot more crowds in Dubai or experience more complex destructibility in Dartmoor. Also included is Variable Rate Shading (VRS), a technique that prioritizes GPU resources where they have the biggest impact. According to the developer, gamers will need at least an Intel Core i5-2500K CPU or an AMD Phenom II X4 940 CPU with 8GB of RAM and an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660 or Radeon HD 7870 graphics card. IO Interactive recommends using an Intel Core i7 4790 CPU with 16GB of RAM. The team also recommends an Nvidia GeForce GTX 1070 GPU or an AMD Radeon RX Vega 56 GPU. Also, it's worth noting that the game will use the DX12 API. Additionally, it will require 80 GB of free hard disk space.  Ray Tracing will be implemented after the launch of the game, later in 2021.

Multiple graphics cards are being tested and benchmarked.  You will need a reasonably modern PC with at least a mainstream graphics card to nicely run the game. This article will cover benchmarks in the sense of average framerates; we'll look at all popular resolutions scaling from Full HD (1920x1080), WQHD (2560x1440), and of course, Ultra HD. UHDTV (3840x2160) pixels, which are four times as many pixels as 1920x1080.  We test with the game based on the optimized and available AMD Radeon driver (download) and Nvidia, their GeForce WHQL driver (download). We'll test the game on the PC platform relative to graphics card performance with the AMD/NVIDIA graphics card drivers. With this title, we'll also move towards a new test platform, based on AMD Ryzen 9 5950X, currently the fastest gaming processor your money can get you.  Hitman 3 is coming to PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series X / S, PS4, and PS5 on January 20, 2021.
