Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: Advanced Warfighter
In Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon 3, players will embody Captain Scott Mitchell as he commands the Ghosts and Special Forces allies equipped with the IWS in the quest to save the president of the United States, recover stolen nuclear codes and eliminate a vicious band of renegade soldiers hell-bent on unleashing catastrophe. The game unfolds entirely in Mexico City, where numerous, thoroughly researched and detailed environments will deliver complete immersion into the future of urban warfare.
Don't mistake the PC version for being a port of the Xbox 360 game. The PC version has larger and different levels than those featured on the Xbox 360, as well as a different graphics engine and style of gameplay. The game itself looks great, and the intricate physics modeling seen in the single-player version is still active in the multiplayer version. In fact, it's so detailed that if you have the upcoming Aegia physics card, you'll see sparks bouncing off objects in the environment. Even if you don't have a physics card, though, there are all sorts of other interactions you'll encounter in multiplayer. For instance, aluminum cans litter the street, and stepping on them not only kicks them around, but also creates a loud sound, which may betray your presence to the enemy.
Lovin this game! I played all levels and absolutely like this game. You need to stick at 1024x768 where you'll nearly do 29 FPS (not in the chart btw). 1280x1024 is an absolute no-go with settings set as high as possible. There's not even AA enabled in this game.
Prey
Prey tells the story of Tommy, a Cherokee garage mechanic stuck on a reservation going nowhere. Abducted along with his people to a menacing mother ship orbiting Earth, he sets out to save himself and his girlfriend and eventually his planet.
In Prey, players enter a living spaceship that enslaves alien races and devours humans for lunch. Prey turns the first-person-shooter genre upside-down with new gameplay features like wall-walking and gravity flipping, making for intense single- and multiplayer experiences. Prey is built on a heavily modified version of Doom 3 engine and is developed by Human Head Studios under the direction of 3D Realms.
First off Trilinear filtering and no AA only results as shown above. You can push an enjoyable gameplay experience up-to 1280x1024. With such results I wonder what will happen if we enable 4xAA and 16x AF.
Above,
what you are looking at are the results at 4xAA and 16xAF with all possible image IQ settings to high in-game. You'll manage a resolution up-to 1024x768 perfectly fine at these settings.
