4. How much money did you spend on the rig as it is right now?

I buy my components piece by piece. I have almost never built a whole new box at one time. In fact, I've had so many spare parts over the course of this hobby that I've completed 3 other rigs just out of old components and then sold them to my friends.

What I can say is that my IPS LCD panel was $670, the water cooling loop was the better part of $700 and the box itself is worth around $1500 according to my rough calculations

5. How often do you update/buy a new rig?

ike I say, I buy my components piece by piece. I usually try to keep a component 6 months to a year and if I don't love it, I switch it out and sell the old one.
