Sandisk Ultra II - 240 GB

First off, a file test. We fire off 64 MB of data comprising of sizes ranging from 0.5 KB to 8 MB. Check it out. As you can see, once we pass 128 KB file size, the drive kicks in hard, already passing 800 MB/sec. Maximum peak writes are at 1,700 MB/sec. Sequential performance (upper graph) shows values pf closing in on 1.6 GB per second. But let's zoom in at IOPS performance.

HD Tune Pro allows random access read and write testing, a feature not available in other software tools. Check out the 1 MB READ performance topping 1,654 MB/sec depending on the model.

Overall average write IOPS performance as well. We get a mere 1,651 MB/sec on the 1 MB files. That is sooo dissapointing (joke!).
