The GeForce GTX 980 Ti is just over 10 inches in length which is roughly 27 cm so please make sure it can actually fit in your chassis. The PCB is a tad shorter, but the cooler extends backwards. obviously you will need to mount the radiator as well.

Another point of attention,. at the backside you will notice a switch and extra 6-pin power connector. Gigabyte added this as LN2 feature, pressing to button will load up a secondary BIOS, though we didn't notice any difference over the regular BIOS you then can use extra 6-pin power header to feed this puppy with a little more power.

At the top of the card you can see the two power headers, both 8-pin connectors are needed. That's 150 + 150 + 75 Watts over the PCI-Express slot = 375 Watts.

It is a pretty nice looking card. Tubing is a little stiff though. As stated the LED colors can be changed in any RGB color of your preference by using the Gigabyte OC Guru II software. Overall a terrific looking card, high performance, good cooling and plenty of display outputs. You can game with up to 4 monitors at any one time using a combination of the various display outputs. Recommended is to use the Display-Ports for three displays for best compatibility.

Here a photo of the 120mm fan based radiator, easy to mount in any chassis really. The screws are already inserted, you can re-use them to mount the unit.

Behind the see-through Plexiglass you can see the water-block that has been connected to a series of heat-pipes covering the memory and VRAM area as well. The water pump and copper base covers GPU, memory, and MOSFETs. Later on in the article we'll have a look at thermal characteristics with our FLIR thermal imaging camera as well.
