Product Showcase
Alright let's take a closer look at the product as tested today - first and foremost, above the packing. Military looks.
Included in the box next to the E-ATX ( 30.5cm x 26.4cm) sized motherboard you'll find the defaults like SATA cables, multiple SLI connectors which can be used for up-to 3-way SLI, eSATA brackets, USB 3.0 dual port header bracket and, plate manuals and driver CD.
You will also receive a Bluetooth and WiFi Card providing Bluetooth 4.0 and WiFi providing spec 150 Mbps transfer rates, 802.11n.
Rear IO connectivity:
- 1 x PS/2 keyboard/mouse port
- 1 x CPU overclocking button
- 1 x BIOS switch button
- 1 x Clear CMOS button
- 1 x optical S/PDIF Out connector
- 6 x USB 2.0/1.1 ports
- 2 x USB 3.0/2.0 ports
- 2 x eSATA/USB Combo connectors
- 1 x RJ-45 port
- 5 x audio jacks (Center/Subwoofer Speaker Out, Rear Speaker Out, Side Speaker Out, Line In/Mic In, Line Out)
And the tiny button to the lower left is a Clear CMOS button. Overall a nicely tucked full back panel. We'd have liked to see integrated WIFI anno 2012 in high-end motherboards though. Right now you receive an additional PCIe card. The bi-colored button is the BIOS switch allowing you to select one out of the two BIOSes. The OC button should auto overclock your PC, which di not work with the F7 BIOS we used by the way.
