As always we start off with the packaging and bundle. Above you can see what to look for in the stores. Nice looking packaging design by the way.
We received the final retail sample and as such it comes packed with a quite decent product bundle. Among the gear inside the kit you'll find the following:
- Motherboard
- 1 x 2-Way SLI Bridge
- Driver Disk
- Manual
- Four SATA cables
- I/O shield
- 3.5" Front panel with 2 USB 3.0 / 2.0 port headers
- Stickers
You'll also receive a poster and transparent stickers with bullets and logo etc which you can place on your chassis.
Interesting to find in the bundle, we think, is a Front Access Control Panel. The Front Access Control Panel allows quick and easy access to 2 USB 3.0 ports and Power eSATA. The Front Access Control Panel also features a Quick Boost button that allows for an instant overclock with a single press of a button.
This Z68 motherboard comes with video output, we see 1x HDMI 1.4a, that's it. We have absolutely no doubt though that if you spend 400 EUR on a motherboard aimed at gamers, you'd be installing a dedicated graphics card, so the graphics subsystem as such we feel is insignificant.
