For today's article we make use of the Gigabyte GeForce GTX 980 Gaming G1 WaterForce kit, three of these puppies setup in SLI from the WaterForce kit.
Our kit traveled half way around the world from Taiwan, the box was pretty beaten up so I had that 'yikes' face when it was delivered.
Luckily once you open up the box, you'll notice a hard suitcase sitting in-between two sheets of soft foam.
Quite classy and mysterious, as this is how you receive the product. The suitcase is also beaten up so we know for sure that this kit was used a couple of times before we got our hands on it.
Inside you'll notice however that everything is protected and seated in foam. Luckily all components work fine and yeah, there's quite a few of them to look at. The kit consist out of three factory overclocked GeForce GTX 980 graphics cards that come with pre-fitted liquid cooling connected to a radiator and reservoir box slash control unit shown below.
A water-cooling box aka control and regulator unit where we'll place the radiators as well. It sits on top of your chassis and we lead all tubing and wiring into the PC like shown here:
