DX12: FCAT Frame Experience Analysis Hitman 2016
Hitman 2016 Frame Experience Analysis
Above, the percentile chart of the 31 seconds gaming @ 2560x1440, this is the intro run of the integrated benchmark. Here we plot FPS and place it in relation to percentiles.
- GTX 1080 - 50% of the time measured frames is doing roughly 150 FPS in the first 30 seconds of the internal benchmark.
Once we move and plot the frame-time analysis, you can detect some stutters in frametime scaling (chart wise). With this chart, lower = better. Huge spikes above 40 ms to 50 ms can be considered a problem like a stutter or indicate a low framerate. This is DirectX 12 enabled. All cards show the latency spikes as shown below. This is part of the game-engine.
All cards perform with similar behaviour in Hitman 2016, remember lower = faster. On each benchmark page I will add one extra FCAT result, in here you can see the GeForce GTX 1080 Ti relative towards a few other cards as an extra for comparison's sake. Some charts have some more cards compared to others, what we tested is added, as simple as that.
