Overall the G.Skill KM360 is a good mechanical keyboard, and you get quality Cherry MX Red switches with nice white backlighting. The anti-ghosting works really well. The Cherry MX Red switches are classified as gaming switches, and are not so good for typing. There’s also a touch of premium to this keyboard, because of the aluminum top-plate. The KM360 has a good, soft wrist rest. The braided cable is also a plus (and it’s not stiff). The keycaps are made from (double injection) ABS, but this is practically the standard solution in this price range, and the keycaps are actually surprisingly comfortable. 

Conclusion 

The pricing is very reasonable (49.99 USD) and end-users will be pleased with the overall package and design. The market for mechanical keyboards is very crowded (and it’s still expanding), but this G.Skill product has some advantages. The aesthetics are fine, the quality leaves nothing to be desired (aluminum top-plate), and you can set the backlight level to your preference (although it’s uneven at times). You also get a 1-year warranty which is short, very short, but the USD 49.99 price tag is the real deal here. Guru3D’s recommendation is based on the overall quality and the pricing: at this price, you are unlikely to find anything of similar quality and sporting Cherry MX switches. The G.Skill KM360 decidedly deserves our Guru3D Great Value award.
