The PSU basement is as it was for the mid-tower Meshify C. 175mm max, in terms of PSU length, and two drive cages toward the front of the case. The chassis does feature a 'secret' fan mount, located at the 'bottom front' of the unit. It is capable of taking a single 120mm fan, though if you have already populated all your fan slots anyway, I can't see why you'd need to add another one here.
Turning the case around, we see behind the motherboard tray. Immediately obvious will be the sheer plethora of cable routing options available. Fractal includes their fairly signature velcro straps as well, to neatly route the thicker cables coming from your PSU. This is not to say that others haven't done similar, but I first saw this system in a Fractal case. There is also a metal plate that removes with a single screw, stretched across the 'gap' in the motherboard tray. This is capable of holding up to 3x 2.5'' SSDs, and will also make routing SATA power/data cables to them relatively simple. To the lower left you can see, again, the 2 spaces for slotting in traditional 3.5'' drives.
The trays themselves remove easily, but the installation of drives does require tools, with the mounting of the drives needing four standard cross head screws. Rubber o-rings help reduce any vibration from spinning drives, and I know that it's a sound that can drive me nuts. Again, a standard inclusion on many drive trays nowadays, but it's appreciated all the same.
The 2.5'' drive rack can hold three drives, as stated. I like this bar a lot. Using it isn't compulsory by any means, but it makes mounting your SSDs look pleasingly... ordered? That might be my mild OCD talking, I will freely admit. Again, mount the drives using four screws, and you can take the bar off to make this easier.
There are no places to mount drives inside the main case 'area,' and that may or may not be welcomed. It depends who you are. Some people want to show off as many parts of their build as possible, even SSDs. For the record, I have no qualms with this. The main case compartment should be about the main components. GPU, cooler, motherboard, and - naturally - the RGB. Fractal's drive locations mean all of your storage is hidden from sight, either in the PSU shroud or behind the motherboard tray.
