Above, you can see the card tested, this is the ECS GeForce GTX 460 1024MB Black series. The card comes with a fairly basic bundle, no additional game software or anything. While 675 MHz is the default reference clock frequency on the core, this one is clocked at 765MHz. The 1GB 256-bit gDDR5 memory is factory clocked at 3700 MHz (effective data-rate).
The design is elaborate alright, we like that. The board has been completely fitted with a huge cooler, it in fact is the Arctic Cooling Twin Turbo PRO cooler. That cooler is thick though, let me show you.
One downside of this card will be the fact that the Twin Turbo series including the card will eat up 3 PCI slots, that's quite something alright. The benefit though is sick, really sick cooling. This card for example under 100% stress with Furmark does not pass 50 degrees Celsius. So it is a bit of a tradeoff, but in return you get awesome cooling that is virtually inaudible as well.
