We move up towards the gaming resolution of choice for PC gamers anno 2014 Wide Quad HD or WQHD which is a resolution of 2560x1440 let's call it a little more sexy opposed to Full HD ok? Monitor resolutions you'll notice that the numbers are start crumbling down significantly. Honestly you are looking at a Radeon R9 290X or GeForce GTX 980 for a proper FPS with these quality settings versus the benchmark versus this resolution.

The mother of all resolutions for PC gamers anno 2014 we feel is Ultra HD which is 3840x2160. A perfect blend of a nice 32" monitor versus nice pixel density is what that is all about. With Ultra Quality and 2xMSAA and HBAO+ we are fracked. Only a handful of card actually will work here but under perform significantly. You need a Multi GPU solution. Again, we opted for steep image quality settings, you can easily switch off a couple of quality settings are forfeit and drop down toward a lower image quality mode. Then again at ultra HD, you want your textures and scene quality as good as it can be.
