Introduction
A couple of weeks ago we tested the Vengeance K60 gaming keyboard from Corsair. For the bigger part that is a mechanical keyboard with cool looks, sturdy build quality at a fair price. Corsair has had something else up their sleeves though, it's the Vengeance K90 keyboard, which in fact is the bigger brother of that K60. And though the overall resemblances are 75% similar when you put the two together, there are distinct differences.
The K90 has everything the K60 has in terms of the overall basis and concept, but it adds some more features. Adjustable backlit keys, a bucket load of function 'G' keys that can be programmed as macro and a keyboard wide wrest rest all in all making the K90 superior towards the K60 in a couple of ways.
With that aluminum keyboard base the K90 might be one of the better looking mechy's out there, though I'll immediately acknowledge that taste is a very subjective thing. Still have a look at what Corsair offers with the Vengeance K90 gaming keyboard. And remember this is their first ever released gaming keyboard series which shows the dedication of Corsair extremely well.
With the Vengeance K series keyboards - Corsair obviously targets gamers. This keyboard comes with a 1 ms report rate, a 20-key rollover, USB connectivity, anti-ghosting and mechanical key switches. The K90 keyboard is designed for MMO/MOBA/RTS games that make use of macros, though obviously you can use it for whatever games you like!
It adds a block of 18 G-keys, plus three macro key sets, so you can have 54 macros programmed in total. With onboard memory you can save them inside the keyboard. The K90 also features a full length wrist rest and blue LED backlighting.
